Vincent Venet is a Belgian singer-songwriter and record producer born as Vincent Van der Venet on July 19, 1969, in Uccle. He achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by pop and electronic music and for having his concerts interpreted in sign language. He achieved professional recognition for a career that began after he studied the drums starting at age 12 and joined the ensemble Sri Lanka. Venet achieved professional recognition for serving as a sound engineer for the organization RTBF for eight years. His recording career began with the debut studio recording 70 centilitres (2002) released on the label Sony Music Entertainment, which achieved professional recognition for selling nearly 7,000 copies in Belgium. He achieved professional recognition for performing 70 concerts on the Centilitour. Venet achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Humeur (2005), which was produced with the team of the musician Zazie. The recording achieved professional recognition for receiving the Octaves de la musique award for album of the year in 2005.
