Mythen in Tüten was a German band from Hanover, formed in 1979. The group consisted of Emilio Winschetti on vocals, Lutz Worat on organ, Ingo Erlhoff on saxophone, and Rüdiger Klose on drums. They were part of the Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) movement, blending elements of New Wave, pop, and Schlager music. Their debut single, "Lady Di", was released in 1981 by No Fun Records. The band's first album, Die neue Kollektion, followed later that year, featuring a parody of DAF's "Der Mussolini". In 1981, they also released the single "Liebe im Funkhaus". Their second album, Jedes Mal ist anders, followed in 1983. The latter featured more experimental sounds but faced distribution issues due to the bankruptcy of their label's distributor. This, along with a lack of media reception, led to the band's disbandment shortly after. Klose passed away in 2010.
