Slut is a German rock band from Ingolstadt, formed in 1994 by Christian Neuburger, Matthias Neuburger, Rainer Schaller and Gerd Rosenacker, with René Arbeithuber joining after the debut release. The group began with the 1996 album For Exercise and Amusement and the 1997 EP Sensation, before issuing the full‑length Lookbook in 2001, which entered the German charts at number 76. In 2002 they released "Easy to Love" and the album Nothing Will Go Wrong, reaching number 35 in Germany. The band represented Bavaria at the 2005 Bundesvision Song Contest with a partly German version of "Why Pourquoi?". In 2006 they accompanied Brecht's Dreigroschenoper in Ingolstadt with musical compositions by Kurt Weill, though only five tracks were cleared for release; subsequent recordings appeared on the 2006 EP Songs aus Die Dreigroschenoper. The 2008 studio album StillNo1 was produced by Oliver Zülch and charted at number 46 in Germany and number 64 in Austria. A 2009 tour with author Juli Zeh promoted the Corpus Delicti project, and the 2013 album Alienation returned the band to the German chart at number 41. The latest studio album, Talks of Paradise, entered the German charts at number 74 in 2021.
