FF.C was a Greek hip-hop band from Athens that was active between 1987 and 2005. The ensemble was established by Dimitris Petsoukis and Kostas Kourmentalas and is famous for being the first hip-hop group in Greece. Initially performing under the name Funky Fresh Concept, they released their debut studio album, Σκληροί Καιροί (1993), independently after labels deemed the genre commercially unviable. Following the release, the group adopted the name Fortified Concept and achieved a professional breakthrough after signing with Polydor Records. Their discography includes the studio recordings Σ'άλλη Διάσταση (1997), Η Απειλή (1998), Οχυρωμένη Αντίληψη (2000), and Υπ'όψιν (2002). The ensemble left the label in 2003 after the track “Paramythi” was censored and founded Hxotron Productions. They released the studio albums Κλασσικά Ηχογραφημένα (2004) and Αντιληψίες Συνείδησης (2005) before disbanding due to the retirement of Kourmentalas. Their catalog was acquired by Universal Music in 2007 for release in the United States.
