The Witchers' Band, also known simply as The Witchers, is a Mexican stoner rock, psychedelic rock, and doom metal band from Mexico City, established in 2016. The group was founded by lead guitarist Ángel Vargas and drummer Antonio Robles, who originally met while attending the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria 9. Aiming to revive the hard rock sounds of the 1970s, they recruited bassist and vocalist Mauricio Mariano in 2018. This lineup released their debut extended play, Demo, in 2020, which featured guest vocalist Luke Fairchild. Following the departure of Mariano, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bruno Martínez joined the group, performing on their second extended play, Acid Nightmare (2021). The release earned the group appearances at various venues in Mexico City, including McCarthy's Irish Pub. In 2022, voice actor Gustavo Medina joined as bassist, followed by the addition of actor André Franco as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in 2024. Their recording career includes the early single “Out of My Mind” (2019) and a series of single releases in 2023, including “Usurped”, “Ascending”, and “Relapse”. The group was also featured in the French and English encyclopedia Stoner Freaks Anthology, Volume 2.
