The Forge is a french Progressive Rock band founded in the early 80's. The band's groove is a sweet mix of heavy riffs and awesome guitar solos, laying on lovely musical arrangements. Along the discography, the sound evolved from a vocal Hard Rock to an instrumental Progressive Rock. Firstly named Macadam Forge, they changed the band's name to Le Forge in the mid-90's, then changed it again to Small Pox in 2001 for the eponymous release, and finally agreed to use The Forge as a band name.
