Leichtmatrose

Leichtmatrose, an indie-rock and synthpop project originally from Münster, was formed in 2005 by Andreas Stitz. He wrote his first songs under the name Leichtmatrose and uploaded them to Myspace in 2007. Joachim Witt facilitated connections with record labels, leading to their debut album Gestrandet, released on Ferryhouse/Warner in 2009. In 2011, Thomas Fest joined as a co-writer, keyboardist, and guitarist. The band's lineup expanded with Tom Günzel on drums in 2015, Rick J. Jordan as producer and live bassist starting in 2018, and Stephan Sundrup on guitar from late 2019. Notable releases included Du, ich und die andern (2015), Heile Welt (2018), and the EP Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Adamo (2023).
