Matthew Edward Kimber, known professionally as Josh Martinez, is a Canadian rapper born in 1977. He began his music career in the late 1990s, releasing early works like The Cracker (1998) and Josh Martinez & the Hooded Fang (1999). In the early 2000s, Martinez started his own label, Camobear Records. His solo album Midriff Music (2005), produced by Southern California DJ Samix, won Best Rap Recording at the 2005 Western Canadian Music Awards. Martinez collaborated with various artists on projects like Splitsville (2007) and The World Famous Sex Buffet (2008). He founded The Chicharones and the live rock band Pissed Off Wild (P.O.W.), and toured the world sharing the stage with acts such as Sage Francis and Sole.
