Theodore Kerkezos, born in 1961 in Heraklion, Greece, is a classical saxophonist and pedagogue. He graduated from the Athens Conservatory under Babis Farantatos and continued his studies with Daniel Deffayet in Paris and Jean-Marie Londeix in Bordeaux. Kerkezos began his career performing with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He collaborated with notable conductors including Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, and Teodor Currentzis. From 2000 to 2010, Kerkezos established and directed the Saxophone Orchestra of Piraeus Prefecture.
