At 14, she won BBC Radio 2 and Songs of Praise's Chorister of the Year award. Wright joined All Angels at 16 before starting her solo career. She released The Last Rose in 2011, which peaked at number 24 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the Classical Charts. In 2012, she released Glorious. Wright has performed at high-profile events like the Invictus Games opening ceremony and the British Grand Prix. She was the first mezzo-soprano to perform at the Olympic Stadium and duetted with Donny Osmond for Children in Need.
