Akurat is a Polish band formed in 1994 in Bielsko-Biała known for their unique fusion of punk rock, reggae, ska, and pop. The band's name, Akurat, is an ambiguous Polish word that can mean either "exactly, just enough" or "yeah, sure right." Akurat released their debut album Pomarańcza in 2001 through Universal Music Poland. Following this, they released several albums including Prowincja (2003), Fantasmagorie (2006), and Optymistyka (2008). Subsequent albums include Człowiek (2010) and Akurat gra Kleyffa i jedną Kelusa (2012). Their seventh album, Nowy lepszy Świat, was released in 2016.
