Domina Noctis, a metal music group from Italy, was formed in 1998 by Asher on guitar and Edera on vocals. Initially known as The Moontower, the duo composed gothic-influenced songs before stabilizing under the name Domina Noctis in 2001. Their first release was the demo Venus In a Dust Whirl in 2001. In 2005, they released their debut album Nocturnalight, and were named the third best new group by the Italian magazine RockHard. The band participated in notable events such as the Italian Gothic Fest in Milan (2006), Dark Fest, and Ultimate Gothic Night (2007), sharing stages with acts like Labyrinth and Theatres des Vampires. They also toured Russia in November 2006 with local group Dark Princess. In March 2009, Domina Noctis released their second studio album Second Rose under Black Fading Records. Their third album, Migration of Souls, was released in 2013.
