Tysondog

Tysondog are a British heavy metal ensemble from Newcastle upon Tyne formed in 1982 as Orchrist. The ensemble was founded by Alan Hunter, Kevin Wynn, and Paul Burdis. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Their recording career began with the track “Eat the Rich” (1983) through Neat Records. They released the debut studio recording Beware of the Dog (1984), produced by Conrad Lant. Their discography includes the extended play Shoot to Kill (1985) and the studio recording Crimes of Insanity (1986). The ensemble became inactive in 1987 but resumed activity in 2008. Their discography includes the compilation Painted Heroes – The Anthology (2002), the extended play Hammerhead 2012 (2012), and the studio recordings Cry Havoc (2015) and Midnight (2022).
