Los Muertos de Cristo, a punk rock group from Utrera, Spain, formed in 1989 with an anarchist ideology. Their first concert in 1990 was cut short due to misunderstandings with the audience and security. They released their debut album, A las barricadas, in 1995 after facing economic hurdles. The group continued releasing albums such as Cualquier noche puede salir el sol (1996), Los olvidados (1997), and Los pobres no tienen patria (1999). In 2003, they released La gran estafa del Rock 'n' Roll, under their own label Odisea Records, accompanied by a comic book. Their ambitious project, Rapsodia libertaria, spanned three volumes from 2004 to 2009. Los Muertos de Cristo announced their dissolution in July 2006 and embarked on a farewell tour that lasted nearly two years, concluding with a final concert in Chile in June 2008. Their material was donated to the Anselmo Lorenzo Foundation.
