John Walker, known professionally as Kutski, was born on February 4, 1982, in Chester, England. He began his career as a DJ at age 15 and gained early recognition by playing at events like Elevate in Bangor. In 2004, he released his debut track "Making Me Itch" under the name SPX. Kutski joined BBC Radio 1 in 2005 to host a slot on The Residency, championing underground hard dance and hardcore music. He has since released numerous albums, including Hard Dance Awards 2010 Euphoria (2010) and Keeping the Rave Alive: The Album 2 (2013). Notable singles include "The Underground" (2006) and "Fly to the Stars" (2018). Kutski has collaborated with artists like Alex Kidd, and his tours have taken him across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. He was voted the UK's top Hard Dance DJ in a 2010 DJ Mag poll.
