JJ Doom was an American alternative hip-hop duo formed in 2011 by Jneiro Jarel and MF Doom. The group's debut studio album, Key to the Kuffs (2012), was announced by Pitchfork in February 2012 before its worldwide release on 21 August 2012 through Lex Records. The record featured guest appearances from Beth Gibbons and Damon Albarn and reached number 148 on the Billboard 200. As of 29 August 2012, the album had sold 3,300 copies. They released the Bookhead EP (2014) through Lex Records before the duo became inactive in 2014.
