Alban Beikircher is an Italian-Swiss violinist born in 1968 in Bruneck. He studied under Joshua Epstein in Saarbrücken and Yfrah Neaman at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Beikircher has performed on concert tours throughout Europe and in Israel, China, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He has appeared at venues including the Gasteig München, the Philharmonie Köln, and the Barbican Centre London. In 2006, he collaborated with Anthony Spiri to perform a cycle of sonatas by composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the Philharmonie Essen. Beikircher has been the primarius of the Korngold Quartet since 2006. His recording career included the studio recording Schumann: The Violin Sonatas (2001) and the studio recording Fauré: Complete Works for Violin and Piano (2004). Beikircher served as a violin teacher at the Bad Saulgau Municipal Music School since 1995, and founded the Junge Philharmonie Oberschwaben in 2008.
