Jassi Sidhu, born Jaspall Singh Sidhu, in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is a British-Indian singer. He rose to prominence as the lead singer of Bhangra band B21 before embarking on a solo career. In 2002, he released his debut album Jadon Jawani Wala. Sidhu's departure from B21 led to a series of successful solo albums, including Reality Check (2003), No Strings Attached (2005), and The New Adventures Of Jassi Sidhu (2008). His 2009 album Jassi What Happened? featured live versions of his hits. In 2011, he released Singing Between the Lines, which included the single "Oh Jatta". Sidhu has collaborated with notable producers such as Rishi Rich and Malkit Singh. He also appeared on the BBC Asian Network's Breakdown Bhangra show in May 2011.
