The RockATeens, an American indie rock group from Cabbagetown, Atlanta, Georgia, was formed in 1994. Their first releases were their self‑titled album in 1996, followed by Cry in 1997. After lineup changes, the band signed to Merge Records and released Baby, A Little Rain Must Fall in 1998, and Golden Time in 1999. Subsequent albums include Sweet Bird of Youth (2000) and the EP Noon Under the Trees (2001). After going into hiatus in 2002, they reformed in 2014, releasing A Major Motion Picture (2014) and Sixth House (2018). Their 2018 release received attention, with AllMusic noting a more restrained sound while retaining the band's characteristic intensity.
