Frederick Cuffie Jr., known professionally as 60 Second Assassin, was an American rapper from New York. He began his career as a member of Sunz of Man, a Wu-Tang Clan-affiliated group. In 1995 and 1996, the group released several singles including "No Love Without Hate" and "Soldiers of Darkness". These tracks were intended for their debut album Nothing New Under the Sun, which was shelved due to label complications. In 1997, Sunz of Man signed with Red Ant Entertainment and released the single "We Can't Be Touched" b/w "Natural High". Their debut album The Last Shall be First featured production from Su-Preme, RZA, 4th Disciple, True Master, and Wyclef Jean. The album debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200 and number 7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. In 1998, Killah Priest temporarily left the group for a solo career.
