Alison Jiear, born 6 May 1965 in Australia, is a cabaret artist and musical theatre performer. She trained as a singer at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and joined the Motown‑cover trio the Fabulous Singlettes, performing at London’s Piccadilly Theatre in 1988. Her stage career expanded across the West End, with roles in Shoes at Sadler’s Wells, On the Town with the English National Opera, Hot Mikado, Jerry Springer: The Opera at the Royal National Theatre, for which she received a 2004 Laurence Olivier Award nomination, and Grease. Jiear released the studio albums Forgiveness' Embrace (2001), Inspirational (2016), and the live In Your Eyes (2020), and issued singles such as "Xanadu" (2015) and "Bless the Lord" (2020). She appeared in Being Julia and the 2012 film Les Misérables, performed on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015, and has collaborated with Tina Arena and starred in the family musical The 3 Little Pigs at London’s Palace Theatre.
