Gregor Trescher, born on March 18, 1976, is a German DJ and electronic music producer. He began his career in the 1990s in Frankfurt, initially releasing albums under the alias Sniper Mode. His breakthrough came in 2005 with releases such as "Still" and "Neon", along with a remix for Sven Väth's and Anthony Rother’s "Komm". His track "A Thousand Nights" from the album of the same name (2007) became the best-selling techno track of the year on Beatport in 2008. Trescher founded his own label, Break New Soil, in 2009, releasing albums like The Life Wire (2009), Lights from the Inside (2011), and Quiet Distortion (2016). He has collaborated with notable artists such as Depeche Mode, Moby, and Laurent Garnier, and has been recognized multiple times as Best Producer in polls by magazines such as Raveline, Groove, Partysan, and Faze.
