Paul Henric Dornonville de La Cour, known professionally as Henric de la Cour, was born on October 8, 1974, in Eskilstuna, Sweden. He started his career as the lead singer of the Swedish rock band Yvonne, which formed in 1993 and released four albums before disbanding in 2002. After Yvonne's dissolution, de la Cour co-founded Strip Music in 2003, with whom he toured internationally and released two albums before the group went on hiatus in 2009. De La Cour began his solo career in 2011, contributing to Andreas Tilliander’s album Show and collaborating with Per Nordmark for his project Bad Hands. His debut solo album, Henric de la Cour, was released in 2011. Notable singles from his solo career include "Grenade" (2012) and "Chasing Dark" (2014). De La Cour also acted as Jack Skellington in the musical adaptation of A Nightmare Before Christmas.
