D=Out, a Japanese visual kei rock band, was formed in December 2006. The group consists of vocalist Kouki, guitarists Ibuki and Hikaru, bassist Reika, and drummer Minase. Following the disbandment of Kouki's previous band, Mist of Rouge, D=Out quickly gained traction with their first concert on December 29, 2006, at Holiday Shinjuku. They signed to Speed Disk in 2007 and released their debut EP Rōman Jōmyakuteki Chabangeki in April 2008. The band's early releases included the albums ZIPANG (2008) and CARNIVAL浮世 (初回盤-大) (2010), as well as notable singles such as "Psychedelico∞psychedelico" (2010). D=Out moved to Geneon Entertainment in 2008, then to PS Company and Tokuma Japan in 2011. They also released their first two albums in Europe through CLJ Records and had two tours in Europe, first in 2009, then in 2010. The band covered Hide's song "Doubt" for Tribute II -Visual Spirits- (July 3, 2013). Throughout their career, D=Out released several notable albums including Shin Gi Tai (2016) and Mandala A (2020).
