Never the Bride is an English band founded in the early 1990s, led by vocalist Nikki Lamborn and keyboardist, guitarist, and singer Catherine "Been" Feeney, who co-writes the band’s music. Their sound combines elements of classic rock, blues, soul, and country. The band released their self-titled debut album through Atlantic Records in 1995 and recorded "Going to California" for the Led Zeppelin tribute album Encomium the same year. In 1999, they toured with British Rock Symphony. Lamborn and Feeney later founded Lock Stock and Barrel Records in 2001 to release Never the Bride albums and other artists’ material. Their song "The Living Tree" was recorded by Shirley Bassey for her 2007 album Get the Party Started, produced by Lamborn and Feeney, with both the album and the track charting in the United Kingdom.
