Trolle Siebenhaar, a Danish duo from Copenhagen consisting of vocalist Ane Trolle and musician Martin Siebenhaar, formed after meeting in a reggae club; Ane Trolle had previously performed across genres from reggae to techno, while Martin Siebenhaar, a former member of Skaband Furillo and solo producer under the name Pato, brought a background in techno performances. Their breakthrough came with the 2006 single "Sweet Dogs", released on iTunes Denmark, which became the most downloaded track that month and earned a gold certification; the track was subsequently issued in Germany in August. In 2008 the duo released their debut album Couple Therapy, followed by a series of performances within Denmark and Germany, though no further studio releases are documented. The duo’s work is classified within the trip‑hop genre, and their early success established them as a notable entry in Denmark’s contemporary pop and MOR scene.
