Erin Kate Hamilton, born August 14, 1968, is an American singer known for her work in dance and electronic music. Before her solo career, Hamilton was part of jazz and blues-influenced bands like As Is and Komba Kalla. Her breakthrough came with the release of her first solo single, "Dream Weaver", a cover version of Gary Wright's 1975 hit, in 1998. Hamilton's debut album, One World, followed in 1999, featuring a cover of "The Flame" by Cheap Trick. In 2008, this cover was remixed and re-released as "The Flame 08", reaching Number 1 on the U.S. dance chart. Throughout her career, Hamilton released several notable singles, including "I Got the Music in Me" (2002) and "Control Yourself" (2008).
