Victor Decamp (*1997) is a passionate trombonist and composer. Winner of many international awards (Leopold Bellan, Innova- Trombone, Paléo, HES-SO, Trombone Jazz Festival Zurich), he benefits from a cultural scholarship from the Leenaards Foundation and follows a one-year mentoring program with Nils Wogram. A versatile artist, he has performed the Ensemble intercontemporain, the Zurich Jazz Orchestra, Manon Mullener 5tet and Scent of Lilac, the National Jazz Orchestra. Composer, he writes for various formations (Mundus Trio, CJO) and creates a show within the SLIDE COLLECTIVE, exploring soundscapes and contemporary writings. He also teaches at the Fribourg Conservatory.
