Just Surrender is an American rock band formed in 2003 in Dover Plains, New York. The group initially consisted of high school friends Jason Maffucci, Andy Meunier, and Steve Miller, with vocalist/guitarist Dan Simons joining later. Their first release was a self-titled EP, In Your Silence, followed by their debut full-length album If These Streets Could Talk in 2005 under Broken English Records. The band gained popularity on PureVolume and appeared on MTV's You Heard It Here First. In 2007, they released We're in Like Sin, which charted at number 27 on the Heatseekers Albums chart. Just Surrender embarked on several tours, including a Northeastern and Midwestern tour in January 2009. Their third album, Phoenix, was released in 2010. The band went through multiple lineup changes and took an indefinite hiatus in 2013 but regrouped in 2017 with new members Josh Grigsby on drums and Ryan Kienle on bass.
