Jessica de Rooij, born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, in 1981, is a German film score composer. She earned a Bachelor of Music with Honors from the Utrecht School of Art, Media & Technology in the Netherlands and a Master of Arts in Composition in Context from the Open University of England. She gained her first film experience in 2005 as an additional composer for the film BloodRayne, marking the start of a long-running collaboration with director Uwe Boll that continued through Rampage: President Down in 2016. She also collaborated frequently with director Sven Bohse, and composed scores for films and television projects including Far Cry in 2008, Darfur in 2009, Rampage in 2009, Max Schmeling in 2010, Sisi in 2021, and Blood & Gold in 2023. De Rooij resides in Berlin alongside film director David Sieveking and their two daughters.
