Mathias Imbert, known professionally as Imbert Imbert, was born on September 13, 1978, in Montpellier, France. He started his musical journey as a bassist with groups like De Rien and Jim Murple Memorial before launching a solo career in 2007. His debut album Débat de Boue received critical acclaim, including three stars from Télérama and positive reviews from Libération and France Inter. Imbert Imbert performed at notable events such as the Printemps de Bourges and Paris Plage, selling nearly 6,000 copies of his first album. He released subsequent albums Bouh! in 2009, Sois Mort Et Tais Toi in 2012, and Viande d'Amour in 2016. Throughout his career, Imbert Imbert won several awards including the Prix du Club des Entreprises des Francofolies 2006, the Découvertes Printemps de Bourges 2007, and the Bravos du Public et des Professionnels 2007.
