The Medic Droid is an American synthpop band from Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 2005 by Chris Donathon, Hector Bagnod, and Johnny Chavez, the group initially gained traction through Myspace, accumulating over 100,000 friends and nearly 2 million plays for their song "Fer Sure" by mid-2008. This online success led to a live show at The Bowery Ballroom in New York, where they opened for Enter Shikari and caught the attention of Epic Records. In late 2007, Johnny Chavez left the band and Greg Rudawski became drummer for live shows. They released their debut album What's Your Medium in 2008, which reached number 33 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The band toured sporadically until they ceased activity in 2016.
