Guérilla is a Canadian punk rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1995. The group performed exclusively in French, combining rap and punk rock to address social and political issues. Their debut album, Manifest, was produced by Pierre Rémillard and helped establish their presence in the underground scene of Quebec. The band performed alongside acts such as Grimskunk, Lofofora, Race, and I Mother Earth, and toured in France. The group also released the song “Manifeste”, though its videoclip was banned by the music television channel Musique Plus. The band released music under the INDICA label and performed at Coup de coeur francophone in 1997 and Francofolies de Montréal in 1998. Their honors include being a finalist at the concours Polliwog in 1997 and winning the Révélation Musique Plus award in 1998.
