Tu Shung Peng, a reggae collective from the South-East of Paris, France, was founded in 1998. The group's name is derived from Jamaican Creole and reflects their musical roots in the Jamaican music scene of the 1970s. Tu Shung Peng initially gained traction through collaborations with notable artists such as Clinton Fearon, Ken Boothe, and Ras Daniel Ray between 2004 and 2008. The group released their debut album, Trouble Time, in 2008 under the Makasound label. Tu Shung Peng has performed at significant events, including the Garance Festival in July 2010. They followed this with Wise Stories from Vineyard Town in 2015.
