Ivan Pavlov, known professionally as CoH, born in 1968 in the Russian Federation, is a Russian-born electronic musician, sound artist, and engineer based in Sweden. After studying classical guitar and piano in his youth and training as a sound engineer, Pavlov began composing computer music in 1992 with Scream Tracker on MS-DOS. The debut album Enter Tinnitus (1998) marked Pavlov's entry into the electronic music scene, followed by Grain (1999) and Into Memories of S-Tone. For Gavin Bryars (1999). Over the following years, Pavlov released works including Iron (2000), Love Uncut (2000), Netmörk (2002), Strings (2007), Plays Cosey (2008), Z-Rated (2010), Iiron (2011), RETRO-2038 (2013), and TO BEAT (2014). Pavlov collaborated with artists including Coil, John Balance, Little Annie, and Richard Chartier. Together with Peter Christopherson, Pavlov co-founded the group Soisong in 2007. Pavlov's work appeared on the label Raster-Noton and on his own label Wavetrap, co-run with John Everall.
