Irene Tremblay, known professionally as Aroah, is a Spanish singer-songwriter born on November 8, 1980 in Madrid. She began her musical career in 1999 by compiling a demo tape titled Luge featuring songs written during her adolescence. This demo caught the attention of Acuarela Discos, leading to her first EP release under the name Cuando Termines Con Todo, Habra Terminado Contigo (2001). Produced by Abel Hernández and featuring collaborations with members from Migala and The Cabriolets, this EP was recognized as the best Spanish EP of 2001 by Rockdelux. Following this success, Aroah released her debut full-length album No Podemos Ser Amigos in 2002, which included contributions from Nacho Vegas and Frank Rudow. This album received critical acclaim, ranking fourth among the best Spanish albums of 2002 according to Rockdelux. In 2005, she collaborated with Raül Fernández on the EP En el Patio Interior.
