Eclipsed is a melodic death metal band from Teresina, Piauí, created by guitarist and vocalist Kyle Redn, in mid-2020. At the end of 2021, the band, still incomplete, released its first single, entitled Forgotten Mind, with Italo Monteiro on bass and external collaboration recording the drum lines.
Still at the end of 2021, the band has the drummer Viktor Moreira, immediately starting to compose new songs, and after a few months, the band featured guitarist Luís Eduardo.
The band enters the studio in May 2022 to record the second single In Praise of Shadows, that kicks off the band with its complete formation, aiming at the composition of an original, aggressive and visceral sound.
They enter the studio once again to record a new single, entitled Restless Sea, with a slightly different footprint from the previous single by focusing on guitar lines, more melodic, but maintaining two strong characteristics of the band: the very full-bodied and intense drum nuances, as well as well-posed vocals with a lot of aggression.
In early 2023 they entered the studio to record the single The Great Tomb, consisting of two tracks, dealing with existentialism in a more poetic way.
Eclipsed speaks about themes in both the fantasy and the reality of our minds, dealing with existentialism most of the times in a metaphorical way. The band released their single Left Roads in May and Forgotten Re-Mind in October 2023.
