Supernichts were a German punk ensemble from Cologne active between 1993 and 2017. The group was established by Frank Franksen, Harry Krischner, Jim Pansen, and Polka Paule. Their recording career began with the extended play The never sleeping Scheisse (1996). They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by lyrics addressing the peculiarities of everyday life. Following the departure of Paule in 2001, Achim Lauber joined the ensemble on drums. Their discography includes the studio recordings Dispo Dancing (1997), Personennahverkehr (1998), and Chaosübersehgenie (2001). They released the studio recordings Gitarre Schlagzeug Bass Gesang (2004) and Hamburg Köln Belgrad (2006). Their discography includes the studio recordings Fixpunkte & Bojen (2008) and Immer wenn ich musst du (2010). The ensemble became inactive in 2017 following a farewell tour that concluded at the Sonic Ballroom.
