Jeavestone is a Finnish progressive rock group founded in 1999. Originating from Kalajoki, the band emerged with its members adopting stage names: Tommy Glorioso (bass), Jim Goldworth (lead vocals, guitars), Kingo (drums), and Mickey Maniac (backing vocals, guitar, melodica). The group's first release was the self-published EP Jeavestone (2001), followed by the single “Crazy Madness / Beauty Contest” in 2005. Its debut album, Mind the Soup (2005), and the 2008 release, Spices, Species and Poetry Petrol, expanded its sound to include woodwind and string arrangements, earning the band attention in Germany after successful concerts in 2006. Subsequent albums 1+1=OK (2010) and Human Games (2016) were issued through Presence Records. Other notable releases include the singles “Plastic Landscaper” (2007), “Hot Summer Fun / Mirror Monologue” (2009), the EP Repiphany (2013), and the single “Human Games / The Leap of Faith” (2014). The group has toured Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
