Arthur Evan is a French artist originally from Annecy and Lyon. From a young age, he was already writing a lot, from short films to poems. As a child, he was surrounded by the melodies of pianos on which his father, a pianist, practiced. It was only later, around the age of 15, that he discovered composition, which he initially approached to provide musical accompaniment to his early short films. For 4 years, he worked on his instruments and his playing in order to master the keys of his piano and reveal himself as a singer-songwriter.
His musical influences are varied, ranging from the great names of French chanson such as Serge Gainsbourg or Michel Berger, to the more contemporary sounds of the current French music scene, including classical music. His musical style, classified as alternative, is characterized by a bold fusion of musical genres, where rap and rock blend with symphony and unexpected rhythm changes, creating a unique sonic universe.
Beyond his musical versatility, Arthur Evan stands out for his sharp and sincere lyrics, skillfully depicting the challenges and trials of the current generation in an unstable and chaotic world. His new EP, titled "Crise" (Crisis), is a promising work that addresses these subjects, among others.
