The Creeping Nobodies were a Canadian rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 2001. The group was initially assembled by Derek Westerholm for a tribute night to the UK band, the Fall, at the El Mocambo club. Following this performance, they transitioned into an independent entity exploring diverse musical influences. Their 2004 album Stop Movement Stop Loss was released on Blocks Recording Club, a worker co-operative known for releasing records by various notable artists. Subsequent albums included Sound of Joy (2006) and Augurs & Auspices (2008). The band's lineup evolved over the years, with a stable period between 2004 and 2007 featuring Westerholm, Valerie Uher, Dennis Amos, Matthew McDonough, and Sarah Richardson. Westerholm left before their final recordings and European tour in 2009. Their last performance occurred in May of that year before the band disbanded.
