Discotronic, an Austrian dance and hands-up project, was founded in 2006 by Viennese producers Thomas Greisl and Steve Twain. The duo's first single, "Tricky Disco", became a European club hit, reaching the top five of Germany’s dance charts. Discotronic followed up with additional singles, including "World Of Discotronic / Now Is The Time" and "The Master Plan". They released several maxi-singles such as Tricky Disco in 2006, The Masterplan in 2008, I Surrender in 2009, The Music's Got Me (Dance & Hands Up Edition) in 2011, and True Faith in 2012. The band is known for their remixes of successful artists, including DJ Manian, Cascada, Brooklyn Bounce, Rob Mayth & Dan Winter, Yanou, and Basshunter, among others. In 2024, "Tricky Disco" went viral on the social media app TikTok.
