Samon Kawamura, born on May 4, 1973, in Tokyo, Japan, is a German-Japanese music producer, composer, and DJ. He grew up in Tokyo and relocated in the mid-1990s to Berlin, Germany. He became part of the production team KaHeDi alongside Max Herre and Roberto Di Gioia. He produced and composed music for numerous artists, including Till Brönner, Joy Denalane, and the hip-hop group Genetikk. His work on the 2002 Till Brönner album, Blue Eyed Soul, earned five gold certifications and a 2005 Jazz Award. In 2012, he released his own studio album, Thaima. His other productions include Genetikk's album Achter Tag (2015) and Max Herre's single “Wolke 7” (2012), which both achieved gold certification. He also co-produced Genetikk's albums Achter Tag (2015) and Y.A.L.A (2018), which both reached Number 1 on the German album charts.
