Container 90, un proyecto de EBM de Kungsör (Suecia), fue fundado en enero de 2004 por Jonas Rundberg y Ronny Larsson. El dúo se propuso inicialmente crear música electrónica corporal (EBM) inspirada en grupos como Front 242 y Nitzer Ebb. Lanzaron el EP *Epigone Idols* en 2004, seguido de otro EP, Der Container Klang, en 2005. El álbum debut de la banda, Scandinavian Masters, salió a la venta en 2006 bajo el sello Sham Recordings y su propio sello discográfico. En 2008, firmaron con Out of Line/SPV para el lanzamiento de *World ChampionShit*. Este álbum recibió críticas mixtas: algunos críticos lo elogiaron como un disco de EBM destacado, mientras que otros lo consideraron poco innovador. Container 90 siguió lanzando álbumes, entre ellos Working Class League en 2013 y Roller Derby Girls en 2015.
