A Spell Inside is a German electro-pop band formed in 1989 in Neuss by Michael "Mel Row" Roeder and Peter "Pe Kirk" Kirchmeyer. Klaus Rodewig joined as guitarist in 1990. Their early work included the self-produced demo The Wrong Spell (1991), featuring the song "We Turn to Grey", which later became the title track for their debut album. In 1995, they signed with Discordia Records and released their debut mini-CD Return to Grey (1995), followed by their first full-length album Visions from the Inside (1996). Rodewig left the band in 1996 due to musical differences. They released further albums, including Stories from the Inside (2000), Hit (2002), Vitalizer (2004), Loginside (2009), Autopilot (2014), and Masterplan (2019). Other notable releases include the album Last (2026).
