Arvest is a Breton music group whose name means "show" in Breton. Formed by singers Yann Raoul and Yves Jégo and guitarists David Er Porh and Erwan Raoul, the group emerged from Brittany’s 1990s fest-noz scene, combining traditional dance music with original compositions and contemporary lyrics. Its debut album, Distaol bras, was released in 2003. Pianist Aymeric Le Martelot joined in 2007, and the group received the Produit en Bretagne award for its second album, Fantazi, in 2008. Arvest has performed throughout Brittany and at festivals and festoù-noz in France and abroad. Later albums included Tri diaoul (2010), IV (2013), and Diliamm (2018), which incorporated electro-pop and rock elements while retaining the group’s focus on Breton dance.
