The Peasall Sisters, comprising Sarah Peasall, Hannah Peasall, and Leah Peasall, was an American country harmony group from White House, Tennessee. The group began performing in 2000 and gained prominence through the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), providing the singing voices of the Wharvey Girls and recording the song “In the Highways” (2000) for the soundtrack. They also performed the song “Angel Band” (2000) in the film. The group released the debut studio album, First Offering, in 2002 through Varèse Sarabande, followed by Home to You in 2005 on Dualtone. They also contributed the gospel song “Where No One Stands Alone” (2010) to the soundtrack of the film True Grit (2010). Their work on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack won them a Grammy Award for Album of the Year, making Leah Peasall the youngest Grammy winner in history at eight years old.
