Chaos Divine is a progressive metal band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 2005, featuring vocalist David Anderton, guitarists Simon Mitchell and Ryan Felton, bassist Michael Kruit, and drummer Tim Stelter. Their debut EP Ratio (2006) was voted the second‑best Australian metal release of the year on Triple J’s Full Metal Racket show. In 2008, they released the full‑length Avalon through Firestarter Music, winning the WAM Song of the Year for "Refuse the Sickness" and placing in Triple J’s top ten international metal albums. The band followed with The Human Connection (2011), Colliding Skies (2015) and Legacies (2020), the latter issued on their own Chaos Divine Music. The band released notable singles such as a cover of Toto's "Africa" (2012) and "Soldiers" (2014) and performed at festivals like the Big Day Out and Progpower Europe.
