Yorgui Loeffler, born 1979 in Haguenau, Alsace, France, is a French jazz guitarist who began playing at 14 under the influence of his brother Gigi Loeffler. His debut recording, For Magnio (2003), was self‑produced and earned a second prize at the 2003 Révélations at the Juan‑les‑Pins Jazz Festival. In 2005, he joined the trio Les Enfants de Django, and later formed the quartet Latchès. Loeffler’s second solo album, Bouncin' Around, was released in 2009. In 2010, he recorded Nothing but Django (Django et rien d'autre) with Steeve Laffont and Raphaël Faÿs for Harmonia Mundi, commemorating the centenary of Django Reinhardt.
