La Baroquerie du Val de Bièvre is an instrumental baroque music ensemble composed of experienced amateurs and young professionals, founded in 2007 around a multi-family core from the CRM of Massy (Essonne).
His name refers to the geographical location of his place of residence, the Bièvre valley, revealed as the scene of the film “Tous les matins du monde (All the mornings of the world)” which strongly contributed to the public's enthusiasm for baroque music.
The ensemble is constituted as an association under the 1901 Law sitting within the Paris-Saclay urban community, a major cultural center particularly active in the field of early music; the Baroquerie du Val de Bièvre contributes to this influence and offers original interpretations while remaining part of the baroque spirit.
